Goodbye low country, hello upstate 🌳
Another week has come and gone and it has been an amazing, sad, exciting, and very fun week!! We got transfers news and... I have left the boro and am now serving in Greenville!! I'm gonna miss all the people back in Walterboro and I'm so grateful for them and I am really gonna miss Sister Wilson but I am very excited to be serving the people of Greenville!
Highlights of the week:
- went to the beach again on p day, sunrise was sooo pretty! And of course downtown Charleston!
- The Mccambpell kids had their baptismal interview this week and they did amazing!! I'm sad I won't be there for the baptism but I'm so so so excited for them!!
- said goodbye to all my friends and branch members :(
- Got to see a bunch of missionaries at transfers! It was a pretty fun day! And met my new companion Sister Wilkinson! She is the sweetest!
- Jaiden and Hailee got confirmed on Sunday! They are two cute ten year olds that just got baptized the day before I got to the area! They are the sweetest!
- surprisingly greenville is very green.... it is sooo pretty here!
This week I have been reading in Alma, and all I'm gonna say is sometimes I struggle to get through the war chapters haha but this week I read about how the Lamanites were trying to attack the different cities and they believed that it would be easy to take the city of Noah because they had thought that the city was weak but in verse 14 of chapter 49 it says, "But behold, to their astonishment, the city of Noah, which had hitherto been a weak place, had now, by the means of Moroni, become strong, yea, even to exceed the strength of the city Ammonihah." I immediatly related this to our testimonies. We must be like Moroni and fortify our testimonies by studying the scriptures, praying, going to church and when we do this we can be prepared for when Satan tries to attack our "weak" spots. We can stand strong and overcome!
I love yall so much and God loves you even more!
Love, Sister Jolley:)
