Week something but GENERAL CONFERENCE (April 3, 2023)

Hey yall!!! Another week has gone by way too quickly but we got to see some awesome miracles!!

We had transfers this week! Me and Sister Carter are staying wooo!! I am so excited to be able to continue to serve the people of Walterboro, I love every person here so much!

We got to do service this week with Pastor Tony! It was super fun and I met and talked with this awesome lady named Maggie! She was super sweet and gave me some pretty awesome life advice, which included her telling me that I better be doing school right now and to stay in school, it was pretty funny:)

HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK!!! It was Conference weekend and we saw some pretty amazing things happen! We got to watch with a couple of our friends and one specifically was our friend Cori!! She said she loved hearing about Jesus Christ and how he can help us through trials! We were able to answer a lot of her questions and we are coming back on Wednesday to hopefully teach a little bit more! She is the sweetest and I can't wait to see her continue to grow closer to the Savior!!
Another miracle that happened this week was we visited a less active member who has been going through some pretty rough things with her family and we invited her to watch conference this weekend and to go in with a question! She texted us today and said she watched it and that she didn't know that she could still get her patriarchal blessing! She had thought she was too old! Soo we are gonna help her get her patriarchal blessing which I know is gonna help her so much!!

Since we are on the subject of conference I just wanted to share my favorite part! I loved Gary E. Stevenson's talk in the Saturday morning session! I don't have the specific quote but he said something along these lines..

Because of Jesus Christ..
Everything changes, everything is bearable, everything is possible!

This line gives me so much hope! Hope for the present, hope for the future! Jesus Christ is my hope and He is my strength. I'm so grateful for Jesus Christ and His atonement and I know that he is the savior of the world and that through him our burdens can be lifted. This life may not be easy and can be a burden but I know he will make it easier for us to carry if we will reach out and rely on him.

I love you all so much and I hope you all have an amazing week!!!

Love, Sister Jolley :)

Quotes of the week:
