Police chase??🚔🔴🔵. (April 24, 2023)

Another week has gone by! We had some fun stuff this week! On Wednesday and Thursday we did exchanges with some of the sisters in our district since Sister Carter is the District Leader! It was super fun! I got to stay in Walterboro and lead out the area for a day! It was a little stressful but also so fun! Sister Migliori was here with me which was awesome because me and her were airplane buddies when we flew into South Carolina! She is such an awesome missionary! One of the little girls in the branch got baptized on Sunday and it was awesome! Her family was there and a lot of the people from the branch stayed to watch since it was right after church! It was the sweetest thing!

We had an in person zone leadership council this week which was super fun! Right before we went there me ans Sister Carter went to Jimmy John's and I don't know if any of yall knew this but you can buy their bread from the day before for only 50 cents! So we bought some and it was actually surprisingly pretty good haha! We also had our first DCM of thr transfer and Sister Carter did an amazing job leading it!

Now for the title of the email, we were talking on this ladies porch on Saturday and out of nowhere these three kids come running out with t shirts tied around their faces, they started hiding in some of the bushes across the street and then they started running more and the lady goes, "they running from the police." Right after she said that the police come barreling down the street with their sirens going! The lady tells us we should probably leave because she was gonna get in her house and we agreed haha! The police car kept circling the neighborhood looking for the three kids. We didn't see where they went and we didn't stick around to find out! It was an adventure 😄

A miracle from this week was with our friends Courtney and Tyler! We had been out of contact with them for about a month and a half and we had the prompting to text them this last week. And they answered! We set up a time to meet and during that lesson we were able to invite them to be baptized and they accepted! They are super excited to come closer to Jesus Christ! Also we have a baptism this Saturday for Eli and we ask that yall keep him in your prayers!

This week one of the members of the stake Presidency came and talked in the Branch! He talked about belonging and how we can help others and ourselves feel that they belong. Something that really stuck out from his talk was this, "We may not feel accepted in the world but we will always have a place in God's family." This is so true, not only for us but for everyone because we are all children of God! He invited us to find someone this week who we feel needs to know they belong and I want to extend that invitation to all of you as well! Reach out to someone you haven't seen in a while, text that friend that pops into your mind, call a family member who is struggling, just try and show the love of Christ and I know that it will not only help those you are reaching out to but it will bless yall as well!

I love yall so much and I am praying for you everyday!

Love, Sister Jolley:)
