#1 Kickball player ⚽️🏃♂️ (July 3, 2023)
I'm back again for another week of updates!!! (I'm running out of ways to start these emails)
Highlights:
- we have started teaching a family from Micronesia!!! They are so cool! The mom is a member and she has 7 kids, 5 of which can be baptized and want to be!! They are amazing! We got to play kickball with them this week before our lesson and it was a blast! And all I'm gonna say is that my team won and one of the kids on my team was cracked! Definitely could play soccer if he wanted (Which he said he didn't unfortunately but it's ok....)
- JACK AND DAVID GOT BAPTIZED!!!! If yall remember from Walterboro we were teaching Jack and David Mccampbell and were all ready for baptism! I sadly could not go back for the baptism but I got to watch over Facebook messenger! (Picture down below) I'm so so proud of them and I'm so excited for them to receive the blessings of baptism and the gift of the holy ghost!!! Shoutout sis Willy for helping them seal the deal haha!!!! She's the best!!!
- Back to Greenville, we put our friend Regena on date for baptism! She wanted to have more peace in her life and she said she felt a lot of peace when reading the book of mormon and wanted to have it with her always! She was so excited when we told her about baptism and the holy ghost! She is looking forward to being baptized on July 28!!
This week I have been trying to focus on the tender mercies that God gives me and I have found an even greater love for the small little positive things that happen each day. Whether that is getting to pet a really cute dog, or the sunset that night or literally anything else! It has helped me come to realize how much God really is apart of our lives every step of the way! He really does accomplish great things through small and simple ways. I would just invite yall to look for the tender mercies each day and I know that it will help you get through even the hardest days!
