Got dunked on?? (July 17, 2023)

Hey yall it was a bit of a rough week and I can't remember a whole lot of it (it did not help that I did not do a very good job of writing anything in my journal this week) 😂 so I don't have much for yall this week but I promise I will have more next week - p day was pretty chill, we got to hangout in the apartment and relax and then we went thrifting at goodwill and got panda express which is always a W. 

 - we went over the Gospel of Jesus christ with our friend zachary and he loved it! He is very nervous about being baptized because he doesn't feel ready but he said he would pray about it and hopefully come to church this Sunday! Please keep him in your prayers!!

 - I got to meet William this week! His girlfriend is a member and the sisters have been teaching him for quite a while and he is so awesome!! He loves learning and hearing our testimonies! He expressed to us some of his big holdups and it was amazing how he just opened up about everything! We are hoping to be able to help him out as best as we can! I would love if yall could pray for him this week as well!! 

 Prayer is so so powerful! And I know for a fact that God does answer our prayers! I often times expect the answers to my prayers to be exactly what I want them to be, and I've learned a lot over the years and I am constantly being reminded, especially in these last few months of being a missionary, that God truly does know what is best for us and that he will give us our answer in his way and in his time. And often in the moment we may feel abandoned but God will never lead us astray or leave us alone. He knows us and our needs perfectly. He will give us the answers and the help that he knows will help us in the long run of this life! I am so grateful for prayer and the peace that it brings into my life!
