Running out of ideas for titles... (July 31, 2023)

God is so good yall! Here's the highlights of the week:

-p-day!! We got to play basketball with the district and sort of soccer (we passed the ball in a circle because we were all so tired) We made the mistake of playing basketball outside while it was 90 degrees plus humidity so we lowkey died but still so fun!
- we had a lesson with our awesome new friend Jacori! He is a super lit 10 year old who loves Jesus with all his heart! He loved the "cupstoration" and said he only wants to go to Jesus's church! He's legendary!
- we went on exchanges this week and I got to be with SISTER MYERS!!!! It was so so fun!!! She is one of the missionaries from my first district here in SC and she is so fire! I learned so much from her and it was fun to talk about some of the people we both taught in Walterboro! (She served there for like 8 months!) She is amazing!!
-Tatyana is doing amazing! She's been praying about baptism and even came to church this last Sunday! We are excited for what this week has instore for her!
-we said goodbye to the Hage family since they move to Hawaii this Tuesday
:( I'm gonna miss them with all my heart! I grew to love them so quickly even though I haven't known them for very long! The people in Hawaii are lucky to have them!
- we got to hold an absurd amount of puppies and kittens this week so I was living the dream!

These last few weeks I have really been trying to study the New PMG that just came out and I was studying a couple of sections this last week but there was one specific line (I can't quite remember where but I wrote it down in my journal haha) that truly sunk deep into my heart this week: "There is more grace, love, and mercy in Jesus Christ than there is failure, flaw, or sin in us." After I read this line I was reminded that it's ok. It's ok to not be perfect, it's ok to have flaws because when we turn to the Savior and rely on him, he can make up the difference, no matter what. I was so grateful for this reminder, not only for missionary work but for life in general. Each day we are going to make mistakes, it's a given, but because of the Savior we can change, we can strive to be better and God recognizes that effort and he blesses us!

I love yall and God loves yall even more!! Reach out if you need anything!

Love, Sister Jolley:)
