Almost Became Spiderman 2.0 (Sept 25, 2023)

We had an amazing spirit filled week!! So let's jump right into it!!! Highlights: - we had a zone conference this week with 5 other zones in the mission! Elder Stanfill and Elder Corbitt came and they shared amazing insights and training! I learned so much! Elder Stanfill's talk "the imperfect harvest" is one of my all time favorites so I was dying when I got to shake his hand and talk with him and his wife!! -along with seeing Elder Corbitt and Elder Stanfill we got to see a bunch of missionaries!!! It's always so fun to see missionaries from past districts and zones and companionships!!! They are all the best!! shout out to all of them! ❤️ - we got some donuts from this place called Duck Donuts and they were heavenly. 10/10 recommend - we pulled up to our lesson with Ricky and my guy literally made us a pizza and bought us Twix and kit kits. What a legend. -pertaining to the title of the email... Alright South Carolina needs to chill with the spiders. We almost walked straight into another spider this week while trying to knock a door. They are built different here and it took all the courage I had left to get close enough to get a pic.... -prays for kristy this week, I won't go into specifics but she's in a pretty rough situation with a roommate so prays to help her get help and get out of that situation would be greatly appreciated!! A favorite scripture from this week: Alma 37:44 " For behold, it is as easy to give heed to the word of Christ, which will point to you a straight course to eternal bliss, as it was for our fathers to give heed to this compass, which would point unto them a straight course to the promised land." I know that the scriptures, specifically The Book of Mormon, can point us in the right direction. As we seek them diligently, with the intent to act on the revelation we recieve, we will find the answers to our questions in this life and we can feel of God's love and support for us in our decisions! I'm grateful for this book and I know that it is true! Love yall so much and God loves you even more!! Start preparing now for General Conference this weekend, it is such an amazing privilege to be able to hear the words of a living prophet and his apostles!!
