Fish Cannibalism??? (Oct 30, 2023)

MIRACLES YALL!! I saw God so much this week, I couldn't be more grateful!!! -knocked a random inactive and ends up this guy has a fiance who isn't a member and wants to learn!!! Ahhh they are amazing!! We have dinner with them this week!! Go savannah and Christian!!! -met Peggy who is sooo cute!! We got to walk with her and her dog and talked about the Plan Of Salvation and it was sooo amazing! We gave her a book of mormon and she was like, "wait really, I can keep it?!" ADORABLE!! -Talked to a random lady in the gas station because she thought Babs was stealing but we ended up talking about Jesus and now we are besties!!! We have already had 3 lessons in one week with her!! Kristin slays!! (We also already have a trip planned for her to come hangout with us in Utah hehe) -had our ward trunk or treat and it was sooo fun! The costumes were AMAZING! -got some MEPS mcflurries, they were bussin -our recent convert Iván has these fish and when we went and met him he said watch this and put some little fishies in and the big fish just snatched them.... bruh it was lowkey sad, look in the photo album for the video..... -I can't stop saying slay, thanks Sister Babs hehe -sooo the mission nurse, Sister Staggie, is now in my district!! It's so cool because she grew up and went to high school with my grandma!!! Crazy!!! This transfer I made a goal to focus on what each of Christ's many names mean to me personally! As I was studying I read a talk given by Elder Gerrit W. Gong titled, "The Good Shepard, Lamb of God." One of my favorite names of Christ is "The Good Shepard" and this talk beautifully explains why Jesus Christ is both The Good Shepard and The Lamb of God. In the talk Elder Gong talks about God's Shepards and what they must do and he says, "God’s shepherds are to strengthen, heal, bind up that which is broken, bring again that which was driven away, seek that which was lost." Seek that which was lost. That is what Christ does for us. He is seeking for us no matter how far off the path we go. He is looking, watching, waiting with arms open for us to come back to him. I know that he strengthens, I know he heals, I know he binds up that which is broken, and I know that he seeks after those that are lost.
