The British are coming 🚨💂♀️
Alright, it was a pretty crazy week!! Here's the highlights!
-had mlc (a long meeting) on Tuesday and got some good training from Presidenr Hamblin
-planned some stuff
-had the most amazing lesson with our friend Damien! We talked about the Atonement and you could just tell he was feeling the spirit because of the way his face lit up and his demeanor changed! Him and his family are going through a rough time, keep them in your prayers!!
-planned
-first ZCM in Aiken and it was sooo spiritually uplifting and it was so fun to get to know the missionaries! They are all so sweet!
-did I mention we planned??
-new obsession---> solitaire
Thanks for that elder twiss
-me and sis ray started talking in a British accent and now we can't stop, it's kinda ridiculous (the fact that as I am typing this out I am saying it all in a British accent in my head.... send help) 💂♀️
-cried together lol (#comp unity)
This week was far from easy but I kept going back to that poem I shared last week in my email! I kept thinking about this name of Christ, "The Carpenter" a lot, especially during sacrament meeting this Sunday. Then I wrote down some of my thoughts and I just felt like I should share them with yall!!
-It is ok to feel sad. It is ok to feel hurt. You will feel broken, shattered, lost. Your heart is going to ache because that's part of mortality. Broken objects are often immediatly cast aside, thrown away, forgotten about, hidden away, no longer able to be fixed. We might feel this way about ourselves when we feel broken, we may feel that we can never be mended and that we are just going to be cast aside, forgotten. Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven will NEVER throw us out, they will never forget us. They see our broken pieces and they know we can be fixed, healed. They see us as pieces that can be put back together, pieces that can be built up to reach the potentional that we have as children of God. Christ will heal us, he will build us up and we will be even more whole than before because it is through Him, our Savior, our Redeemer, our brother, our carpenter.
Love yall with everything in my whole soul, and God loves you even more!!
