Be a Bulb (Feb 5, 2024)

God's hand was all over the work this week! My testimony of God's timing increased ×10 this week! -we were able to meet and teach like 6 new people that have not opened the door since the first day I got to Gilbert! Why this time is different, idk but I'm glad God does! -Had dinner with a member who used to be a teacher at PG junior high when my dad was the principal there! A little piece of home ❤️ -Met with Travis again this week and he is just eating up the gospel!! He asks questions and truly wants to understand! He is progressing so quickly and I'm so excited to see where this goes!! -Exchanges this week!! I got to go to Graniteville again and be with Sister Golding!!! She is the sweetest and has so much knowledge! I learned so so much from her! -played chair soccer and 4v4 basketball for district p day and it was hilarious! Let's just say basketball got a bit heated lol but still so fun! -Brayton bore his testimony during fast and testimony meeting and it was the cutest testimony ever Be a Bulb. We have had a big emphasis on Light over this last week and I wanted to share a my fave scripture about Christ being the light! Mosiah 16:9 Christ's light can never be darkened and as we strive to become more like him then His light shines brighter through us! In the wise words of Elder Black, "Be a bulb" go out and shine that light and I know that even if you don't see the affects, someone who may be sitting in the dark definitely will!
