Why is everyone sick? (Jan 15, 2024)

Another great week has gone by! Crazy.... anyways here's the highlights!! -pday was soo fire! krispy kreme donuts for the bday and walked around a garden with the sistahs!! Love them 💕 -had some crazy weather, it dumped rain for a long time, and there was a small tornado in our zone too. Built different out there in Barnwell! -Raked a lot of leaves, like A LOT -found a fat spider.... not my friend.... -we got to be at Addy and Stephans home when they received a priesthood blessing and wow it was two of the most powerful blessings I have ever been able to witness! All four of the kids were feeling it, I had never seen them be so calm. It was powerful and it is something I will never forget. This family is truly amazing and so prepared!! -I gave a talk on Sunday! Now this is totally a fiction story but I completely forgot I had to give a talk until we were sitting in sacrament meeting for our first ward and then I realized I hadn't written anything. Thankfully I was speaking in the second wards sacrament meeting so with our 30-60 min window in between sacrament meetings I was able to write the talk. God was all over it because I was supposed to talk for like 8 min and I talked for 10. God is good and I'm never procrastinating like that ever again, too much stress. Ok yall you get another spiritual thought from my new fave book, "Finding yourself in the New Testament" by Al Carraway! I read about Jesus Christ in the wilderness when he was fasting for 40 days ( Matthew 4 and Luke 4) in this chapter Al talks about Christ and his motivation behind resisting the temptations from Satan. There were quite a few that she talked about but one that stuck out the most was this (quoted directly from the book): You. Saving you. Getting you back. Giving you everything. He was motivated, strengthend, and dedicated to you.... it was always about you." It will always be about that. Christ will never lose sight of you. This right here made me feel more loved than ever before. Christ's love and God's love hit me like a brick. I know that Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven truly loves us with a love that we cannot even comprehend at this time. So if you feel unloved, forgotten, alone, turn to Christ, turn to your Father in Heaven in pray and ask what they think of you and I promise that you will feel an outpouring of their love for you.
