2 flats and Elder Bowen (May 20, 2024)

What a week yall!! Let's get right into the highlights!! -woke up the day of our Mission Leadership council and found a screw in our front tire and a nail in our back tire.... both tires were at very low air and we had to drive 2 hours to MLC.... thankfully we were able to get there by switching cars with the Hermanas and after our meeting sat in firestone for 3 hours while we waited for our car haha miracle fr fr -Our friend Mitchell had a lot of questions about baptism this week and we were able to help him understand priesthood authority and how it is essential to baptism and the gift of the holy ghost!! He accepted the invitation to be baptized!!! Wooooo!!! June 29th!!!! -The trees were extra green this week because of the rain! It was BEAUTIFUL!! -We had a half mission conference and we got to hear from Elder Bowen!! He talked about so many things but specifically about Priesthood/Priesthood Keys and the Abrahamic covenant! It was super powerful!! He has some amazing talks in General conference! I recommend you go read em!! I had the chance to give a talk on Sunday and I chose the topic of prayer!! Prayer is my absolute favorite thing ever!! It is time that we get to communicate with our Father in Heaven!! There are many scriptures about prayer but my favorite one comes out of the book of Alma! Alma 37:36-37 I am not gonna copy and paste them in here but I would invite yall to go and read these verses!! They basically say to counsel with the Lord in all things and He WILL direct you to the good!! In all things!!! He is telling us that we don't have to do anything alone!! He will be there to help us, guide us, and lead us as long as we are reaching out to Him and asking!!
