Busy week! ✨ (June 10, 2024)
Alright quick little housekeeping real quick. I am no longer allowed to use messenger to message anybody besides my family so pls pls shoot me an email and I can respond there!! ❤️
Highlights:
- gave my departing testimony at MLC, wild stuff
-went on exchanges so I got to be an Hermana for the day!! I was very lost pretty much the whole time but it was cool to see that even though I couldn't understand the language I could still feel the spirit!! We met some cool people and only got close to being attacked by a dog once haha
-SHARLIE GOT BAPTIZED!!! YALL THIS IS A LONG TIME COMING!! Almost two years since she's been meeting with missionaries! She finally took the steps and quit smoking two weeks ago and got baptized on Saturday!! I'm so proud of her!! She has so much light and the last 9 weeks of being able to teach her has been amazing!! LOVE YOU SHARLIE!!
-Accidently ended a voice mail with "in the name of Jesus christ amen....." someone send help lol
-miracles, miracles and more miracles!! God is so good!!
-pulled up to krispy kreme without knowing it was national donut day so we got a free donut. Fuego
Our friend Leslie is getting baptized later today! Keep her in your prayers!!
Meek and Lowly of Heart by Elder Bednar
"Meekness is a defining attribute of the Redeemer and is distinguished by righteous responsiveness, willing submissiveness, and strong self-restraint.......Meekness is strong, not weak; active, not passive; courageous, not timid; restrained, not excessive; modest, not self-aggrandizing; and gracious, not brash."
Christ's sacrifice for us is the ultimate example of meekness! He put the Fathers will above His own and suffered for everyone even those who will reject Him! We can each develop meekness through prayer, practice, and the guidance of the holy spirit!
Love yall and God loves you even more!
