Happy day 💚

First off, Happy Birthday to my dad a few days ago!!! Love you tons!!! This week was crazy busy and went by way too fast but here's the highlights!! - Had a very powerful experience in the home of one of our Mission president's counselors! He is going through a lot right now and could use some prayers! The home was filled with so much peace, love and hope despite the challenges they are facing. Good reminder! -Zone Conference!! We got to be combined with another zone and it was amazing! Great reminders were given and spiritual knowledge dropped! Saw some of my besties too! Love them! I had my departing interview with President Hamblin and it just was another witness to me that he truly was called, by God, to be my mission president! -painted with the relief society! You could say they are flowers but honestly I can't even tell what they are haha -had service with our district for member! We spread mulch at 4 pm in 90 degree weather plus humidity.... it was actually so funny which helped us to be distracted from the fact that we were dying of heat stroke. -An inactive member we have been working with since I got here came to church for the first time in months and even stayed for both hours! She cried the whole time and kept telling us how it was exactly what she needed! Moments like this make my heart happy :)) I loved the Come Follow Me this week in Alma 8-12!! Alma's missionary work is so inspiring to me! Despite all the rejection and hate he received, the minute that the Lord told him to go back, he immediately got up and went with a cheerful heart!! His faith was in the God and His power! He knew what God could do! We often may feel trodden down by the lack of acceptance of the message we have to share but we can remember the words of the angel that spoke to Alma, " Blessed art thou, Alma; therefore, lift up thy head and rejoice, for thou hast great cause to rejoice; for thou hast been faithful in keeping the commandments of God from the time which thou receivedst thy first message from him." We do our part and God does the rest!
