Tornado watch 🌪 (May 13, 2024)

Happy Mother's day yesterday to all the amazing women in my life, especially my mom!! Thanks for being such an amazing example to me!! Here's the highlights!!! -Went on exchanges and I got to go to Greenville 3rd!!!! One of my past areas!! It was so so amazing! And Sister Lemmon is an amazing missionary!! -an almost tornado hit Anderson.... trees and powerlines were down, peoples houses and cars smashed from the trees, no power for two days, it was crazy! We got to help with some cleanup which was a blessing!! -Our friend Leslie has been meeting with us for a couple of weeks and this week she accepted an invitation to be baptized!!! June 15th here we come!! She is so ready and excited!! -Met our friend Howard! He happily accepted a Book of Mormon and wants to get to church!! He is as southern as they can be haha!! This week in my interview with President Hamblin he gave me a cool invitation! He told me to look through my notes from when Elder Renlund was here and to look for "personal commandments" that I wrote down. He compared them to Nephi's commandment to build a boat! Personal revelation is amazing!! God truly does speak to each of us to help guide us in our own lives! My invitation to yall is to think and pray about your "Boat" and to act on your answer by following His council and allowing it to change your life, just as Nephi did!
